Canada’s Brian McKeever to Hold National Media Availability to Celebrate One-Year Anniversary of Golden Hat Trick at the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games

CANMORE, Alta.—Canada’s Brian and Robin McKeever will hold a media availability on March 14, the eve of their one-year anniversary to the start of their golden run at the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games.

The 10-time Paralympic medallists, who captivated Canadians with three gold medals in cross-country skiing at Whistler Paralympic Park, will meet with media in Alberta following Brian’s morning training session at the Canmore Nordic Centre, March 14 at 11:30 a.m. MTN. McKeever, in partnership with the Canadian Paralympic Committee, will also hold a national teleconference Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. MTN.

Brian McKeever is currently competing at the national championships in Canmore, which he is using as a final series of tune-up races for the 2011 IPC World Championships in Russia, March 29 to April 6. Arguably the most accomplished Paralympic cross-country ski athlete in the world, the 31-year-old McKeever has won everything available in the sport internationally.
