David Legg

David LeggDavid Legg is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Education and Recreation at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Canada. He is actively involved as an educator, researcher and volunteer in sport management and adapted physical activity. In 2004, David was a visiting professor at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada and in 2008-09 at Deakin University in Melbourne.

As a volunteer, David is the President for the Canadian Paralympic Committee, Director for Sport Alberta, and Chairperson of the Alberta Youth Olympic Symposium. David completed his Ph.D. at the University of Alberta under the guidance of then International Paralympic Committee President and IOC member Dr. Robert Steadward. In 2003, David was named one of Calgary Inc. Magazine’s “Top 40 under 40”.
