Membership in CPC shall be limited to organizations and individuals (in their respective categories) and shall consist of any organization whose application for admission as a member has received approval of the Board. Such Members shall have provisional membership subject to the eventual ratification of their Membership in accordance with Section 3.02 of CPC By-Laws.
Active Members
Any National Sport Organization for Athletes with a Disability or National Sport Organization representing a sport on the Paralympic program, provided that such organization is properly constituted in Canada and is the recognized Canadian member of the appropriate international federation. Each active member shall be entitled to one (1) vote each at each meeting of members.

Any organization in Canada whose primary purposes are compatible with, and in furtherance of, the objects of CPC, except government agencies and organizations whose main objective is commercial gain and is a duly registered non-profit organization; and is any one (1) of: a national organization promoting awareness of sport programming for people with a disability; the national sport organization for athletes with a disability where the sport is not on the Paralympic Games program; a provincial/territorial multi-sport organization representing a variety of sport groups for the disabled shall be eligible to apply for affiliate membership in CPC. Each Affiliate Member shall be entitled to notice of and to attend meetings of the Members, but shall not be entitled to vote thereat.
